I'm Broke Baby

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to your email address when you sign up for the Thailand Budget Planner. I've kept it short and plain on purpose.

Who I am

I'm Jordan Green, and I run I'm Broke Baby (brokebaby.co.uk). I decide how your information is used. You can contact me at contact@brokebaby.co.uk.

What I collect

Your budget choices (city, home, food, lifestyle and so on) are not sent to me. They stay in your own browser.

Why I collect it

To give you access to the free planner, and to keep a simple record of who has used it. My legal basis is legitimate interests: running and improving a free tool.

This sign-up does not put you on a marketing list. I won't send you marketing emails because of it. If that ever changes, I will ask for your clear permission first.

Where it's stored and who can see it

Your email is saved in a private Google Sheet in my Google account. Only I have access. Google provides this service on my behalf and may store data on servers outside the UK, under its own safeguards. I don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.

How long I keep it

Until you ask me to delete it, or up to 24 months after you last signed up, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email contact@brokebaby.co.uk and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and tracking

The planner doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves your budget choices on your device, and a note that you've unlocked the planner for the current browser tab, but never your email. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google can see your IP address when it does. My website host may also keep standard technical logs (such as your IP address) to deliver the site securely.

Changes

If I change this policy I'll update the date at the top.
